Honey Made in Germany

The Deutsche Bahn helps bees and beekeepers in Germany. Together with the DB real estate division beekeepers can pick from unused properties owned by the Deutsche Bahn railway company. Up to 750 of these vacant lots and tracks are now home to over 30 million bees, their hives and their caretakers. This eco-friendly project produces a honey named “Gleisgold” sold by the Deutsche Bahn.
